Summertime Summary
We might have been ‘socially’ quiet over recent months, but rest assured we have been busy beavering away in the background, completing lots of new projects. Here are just a few of the jobs we’ve worked on recently…
At Ristorante Sergio, in Chester, we’ve refurbished the kitchen using our Ultima ‘Aspen white’ PVC wall cladding, stainless steel wall cladding and fabricated stainless steel shelving. With added sections around the extraction canopies there were a few tricky shapes to get around on this job. We also removed existing flooring & replaced with new vinyl safety flooring. All works were completed in a tight timescale to enable opening of their new outside dining area.

Existing flooring was removed & replaced with new sheet vinyl safety flooring in the kitchen area at Chester Cathedral Cafe. We’ve also lined walls & ceilings with our HFS ‘Ultima’ cladding and fitted new stainless-steel cladding around the hot cooking areas. There were again some very awkward shapes & details to overcome in this area, but we’re happy with the result, and more importantly so is the client.
Another job completed recently for our friends at Mrs Darlingtons, in Crewe. We installed PVC ceiling boards, plus a combination of 2.5mm & 6mm thick PVC cladding panels to walls, beams and bulkheads. Some 35mm thick PVC panels were also installed in areas to form new walls and we’ve fitted new PVC strip curtains. Work was completed working closely with other trades on site, including electricians and engineers, ensuring minimum downtime in the factory’s production schedule.

We’ve recently carried out works on another branch of Chatwins, this time in Allport Rd, Bromborough. In back of house & preparation areas we’ve installed a combination of HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC wall cladding & and stainless steel wall cladding. Front of house areas have also benefitted from having our BoFloor Bo Fix GL and R13 floor tiles fitted, as well as in back of house areas. Latex levelling screed was used to prepare the subfloor, and the customer is once again very happy with the finished result.
And last but not least, we’ve completed our works at the new Hickory’s Smokehouse in Wilmslow, ahead of them finally opening their doors on Monday 19th July 2021. Hickory’s took over the site – previously known as the Boddington Arms – in April 2020, but all plans were shelved due to Covid. We’ve fitted a combination of HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’, HFS Ultima Vitality ‘Black Olive’ and stainless steel wall cladding to various areas of the new restaurant, as well as preparing the subfloor using a latex levelling screed, before installing our Bofloor BoFix GL & R13 floor tiles. All at HFS would like to wish the team at Hickory’s good wishes on their opening and hope all goes well.
