The Summer holidays are over for another year, the schools are back, and the leaves have started to turn. Yes, here we are in September 2019. As mentioned last month, August is always a busy time for us at HFS as many refurbishment and renovation projects are scheduled to coincide with the holidays. Here’s a snapshot of some of the many projects from the last few weeks to give an indication of the breadth of industries and locations we have worked in. Commercial HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC wall cladding was installed in the new showers at LEAR Corporation, Coventry Supplied and installed our HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC cladding to walls and ceilings in the new pens at the Cats Protection building in Wrexham (on the site of the old fire station).  Cladding is  fitted with welded joints, and there is over 1400 m2 in total to be fitted … –

Project News – Vanguard Theatres Wythenshawe Hospital

In August 2019 we supplied and installed hygienic wall, ceiling and flooring solutions to the Vanguard Theatres at the Wythenshawe Hospital. HFS Ultima White Wall Cladding were used on the walls and ceilings and a Polysafe palletone vinyl was applied to the floor. Here we are almost mid-way through August in the middle of Summer. As always the British weather has been as unpredictable with a mix of sunshine and showers. Typically at this time of year when those in full time Education or who work in Schools and Universities are on holiday we are busy working on refurbishments in those facilities. This year has been no different and we’ve worked on supplying and installing PVC Wall Cladding (HFS Ultima, Altro and Trovex) and vinyl flooring solutions to; Our Lady Bishop Eaton School, Kilburn Building at the University of Manchester, Chaple Allerton School in Leeds, Victoria School in Birmingham, The Grange School in Northwich, Rossett School in Weaverham, Cuddington Primary School, Salford University, England Lane Academy in Wakefield and St Georges in Sleaford. Summer is almost here; we’ve had a taste of sunshine over the last couple of weeks (fingers crossed we’ll have more!) and July is the month of Wimbledon, Strawberries & Cream, US Independence Day, the Women’s World Cup (good luck to the Lionesses) and the schools finishing for the holidays. As always, our teams have been and about around the country on a variety of projects, here are some highlights to show the type of installation we are involved with over the last few weeks and the start of July. Here we are half-way through the year (where has the time gone!) and now we are in June 2019. Slightly sad that we have enjoyed the last of the bank holidays until August now, though some of us did celebrate the Liverpool win at the weekend, and we are looking forward to the upcoming Wimbledon Tennis tournament later this month. Project News – Countess of Chester Hospital

In November 2018 we supplied and installed hygienic wall, ceiling and flooring solutions to an Operating Theatre at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Altro White Rock Satins were used on the walls and ceilings and a poly vinyl was applied to the floor. The project was in conjunction with Medical Air Technology– all photographs supplied by MAT. April showers, sunshine or snow? Who knows, it seems that according to the weather forecasters that we could be seeing all the above this month – let’s hope that for our late Easter break this year that we see some of the sun so we can enjoy the bank holiday weekend or the school holidays properly. Project News – Offley Insurance

We recently undertook a large project for Offley Insurance in Ellesmere Port. The project included: Joinery work – we supplied and fitted two new pre primed paint grade doors and frames including all the door furniture. Flooring – we supplied and installed Polysafe standard vinyl flooring with coved skirtings Builders Works – we enlarged existing doorways, removed the 2 existing cubicle walls, existing skirting and prepared for new electrical items Cladding – we supplied and fitted to the walls in the 2 new toilet areas HFS Ultima PVC Pastels range Plumbing – we supplied and installed 2 new bathroom fittings; Toilet, basin, sanitary fittings and all rails and an under sink water heater Electrical – we supplied and installed 2 new wall mounted bathroom heaters with timers, reinstated the existing hand dryers and the new wiring required for the water heater Ceilings – we supplied and installed HFS Ultima white … –
