The Summer holidays are over for another year, the schools are back, and the leaves have started to turn. Yes, here we are in September 2019.

As mentioned last month, August is always a busy time for us at HFS as many refurbishment and renovation projects are scheduled to coincide with the holidays.

Here’s a snapshot of some of the many projects from the last few weeks to give an indication of the breadth of industries and locations we have worked in.

Commercial

• HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC wall cladding was installed in the new showers at LEAR Corporation, Coventry
• Supplied and installed our HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC cladding to walls and ceilings in the new pens at the Cats Protection building in Wrexham (on the site of the old fire station).  Cladding is  fitted with welded joints, and there is over 1400 m2 in total to be fitted over a 4 week period
• HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC cladding was installed at Airbus Broughton, as part of a major refurbishment of factory toilet facilites
• HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC cladding was supplied and installed at Rolls Royce, Derby as part of a refurbishment and re-modelling of factory toilet facilities

Schools & Universities

• Trovex Ambience PVC wall cladding was installed to the pupil toilets, changing rooms and showers at Welshpool High School
• New Polysafe Vogue sheet vinyl flooring was laid in the corridors and circulation areas at Malbank High School in Nantwich
• HFS Ultima PVC wall cladding and Bofloor Bofix Tiles were fitted in the kitchen renovation at Bredon School near Tewkesbury
• HFS Ultima Aspen white PVC wall cladding was installed in the pupil toilet renovation at Highgate School in North London
• Altro Whiterock pvc wall cladding was fitted in the Kitchen refurbishment at Sandycroft Primary School in Deeside
• Altro Whiterock Echo Satins was installed in the hygiene room and to the WC Splashbacks in the Middleton Primary School in Nottingham
• Bioclad Vivid range of PVC wall cladding with welded joints has been supplied and installed at Edge Hill University – Ormskirk Campus (new medical school). Approximately 250 m2 has been installed using 4 colours. Also fitting ‘Altro Fortis Titanium’ corner guards

Hospitals & Care Homes

• Altro Whiterock W103 PVC wall cladding was supplied and installed at Care UK Care Home in Godalming, Surrey, as part of a major kitchen refurbishment
• Altro Whiterock was installed in the new Care home kitchen at Darlington Court in Littlehampton
• Our HFS Ultima Vitality range of coloured, high gloss finish PVC wall cladding was installed in various colours at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, as part of the Cath Lab remodelling project. Altro Fortis Titanium wall protection sheet was also installed, along with Construction Specialities ‘Acrovyn BCR 80 & 50 N bump rails’ to corridor areas and Construction Specialities ‘Acrovyn SM 20 corner guards

Hotels, Restaurants, Bars & Pubs

• Bofloor Bofix GL and R13 tiles were laid in the kitchens at Granger & Co restaurant in Notting Hill overnight during the annual carnival!
• HFS Ultima Aspen white PVC wall cladding was installed in the kitchen refurbishment at The Boat in Erbistock and at Brewdog in Cambridge
• Bofloor Bofix GL and R13 flooring tiles were laid in the kitchen at Chesford Grange
• Polysafe standard vinyl flooring was laid in the back of house areas at The Ring `o Bells in Christleton
• HFS Ultima Aspen white and HFS Vitality Mushroom and Stainless Steel wall cladding were used in the kitchen re-design at Wagamamas in Sheffield and Cambridge
• HFS Ultima White ceiling panels were installed in the pot wash area of The Pheasant pub in Tattenhall
• HFS Ultima and Altro Whiterock satins and Bofloor GL floor tiles were installed in the kitchen and back of house areas at the refurbished Norma Restaurant on Charlotte Street in London
• HFS Ultima ‘Aspen White’ PVC wall cladding was installed in 2 kitchens at Stock Exchange Hotel, Manchester as the project is nearing completion
• Bioclad white PVC wall cladding was installed to the kitchen and back of house areas at the new Five Guys Restaurant at the NEC, Birmingham. Stainless steel wall cladding was also installed to cooking areas in the kitchen
